Well, Halloween is over, but you can save this idea of October or try it out on the next themed-party. This will be your unique hand-made fabulous costume – a super cute flapper fringe skirt.
You will need some fringe, scissors and fabric glue. And an old skirt, too of course. If your skirt is stretchy, make sure there is a zipper on the back.
1. Measure the skirt and cut the first piece of fringe – it should go all the way around the skirt and be a bit longer than the skirt itself, when placed on it. Then cut a second piece for the top part of the skirt – this makes two layers as you can see on the picture.
2. Glue down the bottom piece first and then the top piece.
3. Just let the glue dry and you are done. Now go boast your funky, hand-made costume.
