So you’ve got the outfit, now for some eyes to help you hunt through the night. Here are a few simple steps to help you get that feline look.
- Start off with some of your favorite natural foundation eyeshadow. Doesn’t have to be anything special, just something which will match your skin tone. Easy on the load.
- Your next step is lining the base of your lids with a black gel eye liner, making sure it stretches to the outer corner of your eye to come back and follow your upper eye lid. This should create that natural eye shape with a slight tail at the corner of your eyes.
- Once you have the outline drawn out, fill it in with a blend of blue and black eye shadow of your choice.
- The last step and probably the most important – is adding the gold glitter glue. This is done with some simple tapping movements. Cover the entire eyelid except the ‘tail’ to give you that dreamy sparkle. Applying mascara goes without saying – we recommend a thick black mascara to help bring out the shininess of the glitter. You can also underline your eyes with a blue pencil eyeliner to make your eyes look bigger and smokier.
A little tip: if you’re worried glitter will get everywhere, simply use scotch tape to wipe up all unwanted sparkly stuff. But all in all – there you have it – four easy steps to give you that dramatic blue gold smokey-eyed look.
