Women who dye their hair at home know the awful situation, when you have dye all over your face and arms. These are 6 methods, which will help to solve the issue.
Rub detergent onto the spots to remove the dye. Choose a skin-friendly detergent, which does not contain dyes or fragrances. Don`t use on the face, as the skin is more sensitive and may get irritated.
2. Baking Soda
Mix baking soda and liquid detergent in a 1:1 proportion. Stir and rub the mixture onto the dyed spots. Keep away from the eyes.
This is also very effective, if you want to remove the dye from your skin. Gently rub it onto the skin. You may use this on your face, too. Toothpaste, containing baking soda works better.
Apply to your skin and massage gently until you see the stain fading out. You may use a cotton pad or your fingers, but a cotton pad is recommended, as the dye will not be transferred to your fingers. You can also apply some petroleum jelly onto the stain and wait for a while.
Baby oil works on the same principle as the petroleum jelly. You can use anywhere, as it is harmless for the sensitive face skin.
This one is a bit harsh, but actually works. Rub onto the stained area, but be careful as the skin might get irritated. Avoid applying nail polish remover onto the face.
Don`t forget to rinse your skin with warm water, after applying any of these methods.
