If you find your face to be too long, you can reduce the length by using a darker foundation shade around the lop of the forehead, along the jaw line and under the cheekbones. Highlight just above the cheekbones and apply the base foundation. It might be necessary to re-apply the light and the dark shades. Be careful with the blush – apply along the cheekbones, but not too far down the face.
You need to use dark shade in an almost triangular shape on each side of the jaw – just as shown on the picture. This will soften your face. Shade the lop of the forehead. Apply light shade above the cheekbones. Carefully apply the base foundation, if necessary re-apply the shades and brush blussh along the cheekbones.
The main problem for the round-faced women is the width : length ratio. In order to reduce the width visually, use a darker shade just below the cheekbones. Use lighter shade above the cheekbones and onto the tip of the chin. Then apply your foundation, blend carefully and brush blusher along the cheekbones.
You will need to apply darker shade on both sides of the forehead and on the tip of the chin. Just above the cheekbones, apply lighter shade. Finish up with the base foundation, if necessary re-apply the dark and the light shades. Apply blusher along the cheekbones and blend it up onto the temples.
