Fall has always been my favorite season – it’s not too cold but you can still wear a jacket, everything is colorful because of the fallen leaves and the smell of pumpkins is all around. That’s why in this article I want to share with you some outfit ideas for some of the most common activities in this season – hiking, pumpkin carving, hayride, football game, bonfire and haunted house!
Hiking is one of the best things you can do in fall and, of course, you need to be fashionable when you do it! Go for comfy jeans, sneakers and a cool sweater (or cardigan). Top it off with a jacket or an anorak in case it gets colder and if you want to be extra fancy, add a statement necklace. See, it’s not that hard to look good even when you hike!
Pumpkin carving can get messy, so the best thing to wear is something you mind getting dirty. Choose distressed jeans (even better if they are the “boyfriend” type) and a shirt that’s not one of your favorites. To add a little something, add a statement jacket and be ready for some post-carving activities!
Because hayrides include hay, be sure to cover your legs! If you don’t want to go for the same old jeans, choose a long skirt and add a chunky scarf or cardigan to keep you warm outside. Add something denim – like a jacket or a vest, and your look will be finished!
Your college has a football game and you don’t know what to wear? Of course, we can help! You need a button-up, a sweater of your college (or football team) that you will put over the button-up with the collar peeking, some legging, a cardigan (if it’s too cold) and some comfy, yet stylish, boots. Voila! It’s plain simple and you will be the most fashionable girl on the field!
You need to be trendy and warm, so definitely add legging. Try a patterned skirt or dress and go for a biker jacket or a cool coat. Add some low-heel boots and a statement jewelry piece and go have some fun!
You are going to walk a lot so go for flat shoes. The perfect casual look consists of colorful jeans, cute shirt, a jacket that will keep you warm and a patterned scarf to tie everything together! Add a small, colorful purse and you’re good to go!
