Gothic, Lolita, Steampunk and Emo – everything has its own style and it varies from one region to another. Some things never change, though, and one of them is the shoe model for each of these fashions.
Gothic shoes can be either the typical platform boots that show massiveness and extravagance or the popular Japanese variant that is Gothic Lolita shoes – usual Lolita shoes (which are like a bigger version of shoes for female toddlers) but in black and white. Both should be worn with the appropriate styling – black lace dresses and gowns for the standard boots and Lolita dresses for the second style.
Steampunk shoes vary from Victorian boots and general models to sandals, depending on the subgenre. The thing that makes steam punk stand out among the others is the existence of metallic and mostly clock parts as accessories and accents.
Punk shoes are probably the most diverse from the three. They can be converse-like sneakers or high-heel rock shoes. They can even be riding boots or army boots if they are worn in the right way. Punk combines rock and pop in the best possible way by using contrast and colours but still keeping it rough.
