Let’s be honest – we all want to have the bodies of Victoria’s Secret models but we just cannot leave those extra chocolate muffins and pancakes we demolish every morning. For those of you who can’t say no to a chocolate treat but really want to start eating healthy, we present you the Skinny chocolate banana oatmeal pancake! And why is skinny you would ask. Because the chocolate isn’t real chocolate, but a chocolate flavor protein powder! It’s just as tasty as the real one but the calories as much less.
The ingredients you’ll need for this recipe are:
2 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (1/4 cup)
- 2 Tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- diced strawberries
- powdered sugar
All you have to do is to combine all the ingredients without the sugar, honey and strawberries in a food processor and mix until everything is smooth. Then drop by 1/4 cup into a hot skillet. Cook the side until bubbles appear on top and then flip the pancake. Make a stack, put some strawberries on top, drizzle them with honey and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve hot and put the leftovers in the refrigirator. If you want to eat them later just put them in the microwave for several seconds.
