Baby braids are the great alternative of the thick braid because they are cute, simple and you can leave part of your hair down and still achieve texture. We associate them with a Pocahontas appearance, very fresh and carrying a sense of freedom. If you want to embrace the boho look for this summer in your hair too, here is how to do this:
-
Take two equal parts of your hair from both the left and right side, from the front of your ears.
-
Grab a third part of your hair from the back of your head and start twisting it in a zigzag pattern between the two larger sections.
-
Go all the way down until the third, smaller section has finished.
-
Tie it with a hair band of your choice. It is best to use one that matches your hair color or a clear, simple one.
-
In order to add texture, very gently pull out small parts of the larger sections out from in between the small pieces. Add a little surf spray if your hair is too sleek or soft. It is best not to do this hairstyle immediately after you have washed your hair because it is not very manageable and is too alive at that point.
-
Be careful not to be too rough when pulling out the strands. Apply some hairspray in the end to fixate it for a while.
Very cool and very chic! This boho hairstyle is definitely an easy one for the summer!
