It is really cool and unusual idea. First spread cheap white shaving cream in a cookie sheet. Then apply drops of neon food coloring across surface.Use toothpicks to swirl colors around. Roll the dried, cooled hard boiled eggs in the colorful cream. After that allow to set for 3-4 minutes on a paper plate. Finally wipe off shaving cream with paper toweling .Voila!

Tissue Paper Eggs
First step is to fold tissue paper four times. Then punch tissue paper with crafter’s punch. Paint a thin layer of decoupage glue onto egg. Pick up punched-out shape with paintbrush. Starting from the middle of the punch-out and working outward, gloss over punch-out using paintbrush with thin layer of decoupage glue. Finally place egg on drying rack.
Silk Dyed Easter Eggs
Cut pieces of 100% silk large enough to cover an egg. Wrap as smoothy and tightly around egg as possible, with right side of fabric facing in, and secure with a twist-tie or piece of string. Repeat process, but wrap with a plain piece of lightweight fabric, like an old white pillowcase or sheet.
Place eggs in a large stock pot and cover with water at least 2 inches above eggs. Add 1/4 cup white vinegar. Bring pan to a boil and reduce to simmer. Simmer for 20 minutes and then use a pair of tongs to remove eggs and lay them (still wrapped) on layers of paper towels or an old dish towel. Let cool to room temperature and then remove the fabric wrappings. Store in the fridge until ready to display. If desired, rub with a small amount of vegetable oil for shine.

Washi Tape Easter Eggs
You actually don’t have to dye your eggs at all. You can just use Washi tape instead and this is a great way for younger children to help color those eggs without all the mess that comes along with dyes. You will need to select different colors and designs of Washi tape, which you should be able to find at your favorite department or home improvement store. Then just go to town decorating those eggs however you want.
